Commitment to the Environment and Safety
AirEnergy is committed to the protection of the environment and to safety in projects throughout Greece. From studies and surveys to construction activities carried out in local communities, AirEnergy and its employees take action every step of the way to protect the environment and ensure human safety.
Environment
Our goal is to establish a culture of environmental protection in the context of our projects, by leveraging wind farms and solar power plants, while respecting the landscape’s natural beauty, and local traditions and customs. In addition, at AirEnergy’s offices, efforts are made to create an eco-friendly workplace (such as the program for the automatic charging of electric cars, recycling programs, smart lighting technology to reduce energy waste, water supply technologies to reduce water waste and employee training to help them reduce their personal carbon footprint).
Safety
At AirEnergy, we believe that every accident — and every injury it may cause — can be prevented, and we integrate this belief into every project we undertake by implementing a combination of technical field procedures and ongoing training programs. Every employee has stop-work authority — “if it is not safe, do not do it”. We also ask our subcontractors and partners to adopt our commitment to safety and health. The result is exceptional safety performance, even in hazardous work environments, difficult weather conditions and remote locations.
Health Policy
The Management of AirEnergy is committed to handling Health and Safety at Work and Environment (HSE) issues with the same responsibility and importance with which it handles all design and construction operations of energy system projects. We believe that the adoption of this policy benefits employees, clients, partners, the state and society in general.
We intend to fulfil our commitment by following the principles of prevention and protection, publication of our actions and continuous improvement of our performance in the field of HSE. Specifically, we are committed to supporting the implementation of HSE management methods, and to ensuring the prevention of pollution from accidents and occupational diseases, as well as the harmonization of the company with relevant legal requirements and other commitments that we undertake.
This continuous effort is carried out by monitoring and implementing modern technologies and international practices, by informing, training and involving employees and external collaborators in the management of HSE and by ensuring that the system is regularly reviewed by Management.
We constantly strive to improve the project management methods we apply, and this will help AirEnergy to continue to operate in a safe workplace and in a healthy and sustainable environment, both in the office and in the field. We will keep clients, employees, partners and other company stakeholders updated on the actions we take.
Management fully supports the HSE Management System and considers it to be a top priority, and it is committed to implementing the specifications in order to meet the aforementioned goals, in cooperation with the company’s staff.
